So incase anyone was interested, I had an acropora frag that Ive had for 3 months and was encrusting the rocks lookin good all of a sudden developed a spot tissue decay. And that spot doubled in size within hours. It was on its deathbed and no underlying reason, all my prams were spot on. So I said what do I have to lose, it was dying fast. So I got my tube of epoxy and mixed up one small ball and just spashed it over the dying spot. 4 days later the coral is alive and well. So yes there are instances where this could possibly save your coral.

Good information! Very similar to fragging the coral. I've heard of people doing similar with positive results. I'm happy to hear it worked for you as well. How far above the necrotic tissue did you cover?

Roughly a 1/4" all the way around. Ya i didnt want to frag it simply because its still a frag. And the decay started right in the middle of all things
