Just want to give a shout out on these Black Widow Nems.These are the real deal,picked one up yesterday.It has already started to host the clowns

They look nice. I clicked the link because I wanted to see what "rare" BW's looked like and chuckled a little when I read there's 30-40 of them. "Rare" has a funny definition nowadays. I love nems! GLWTS.

Rare as in you can't buy them very often and not commonly seen and carry a higher price...40+ yes,,,but it took 3 years of work to have them naturally split..Yes,,they are rare..but my work and patience paided off having this rare beauty multiply like it did...

There are a bunch on Divers Den. Either they are really bleached out or the lighting that the pics are under is really bad, because they certainly lack the bold red and dark purple of what the OP is selling.

THey are under full whites it looks like. Color is fine under that lighting, but there are a lot of people that might challenge that they are real BW's and not Sherman's.

I agree with you that the pictures are under whites, but I have BWs in my tank at home running white generic MH and they look significantly different as do the Shermans. I'm not knocking Live Aquaria but just like all those zoa/paly rocks from the ocean that they put trade names on the are obviously not the same as the rest of the community names them I just can't see these anemones as being legit. I always had a personal problem with their naming of the Z&P rocks.

Didn't do anything out of the norm...they love well aged live rock..The aquarium I have them in, is only 3 year old,,,,but the live rock I have,,is 15+years old...very aged..It's not man made rock..
