Hello all!
I wanted to start a thread to show off rare fish in the hobby that we own! I haven’t seen a thread like this yet and thought it would be cool. I absolutely love rare fish!

You can post pics of rare species you own or common species with rare variations!!! The latter is always a treat to see (at least to me it is). Have fun and let’s get some pics up!!

Here’s the rarest thing I own so far

A magma wrasse! Not too rare, but I still think it’s a gorgeous fish!

Very nice!!! I gotta get me one of these one day :) their color is amazing!!!
Thanks man! I need to get a few of the fish you recently got as well!

i have a pair of canary damselfish (Chrysiptera galba). fairly well-behaved and always out & about. i like them a lot despite the pinch in the wallet.

apparently they do okay in groups ... i’d love to get three more (180G main tank). my fav LFS tells me they were a regular sight back in the 80’s (90’s?) but not so much nowadays.

VERY NICE!!! Love the color on that guy! I’ve never heard of this species before, going to have to look into them. :) thank you for sharing!

haha! Fish envy :)

Where did you get your moyers from? I’ve heard it’s hard to get them to eat
I got it from a transhipper in the Bay Area of CA. I’ve never had issues with getting leopards to eat. This is my 3rd one. Lost a potters in a power outage.. my black leopard I’ve had almost 2 years.

Nice! Sorry to hear about your potters. Tried to get one on my transship order, but were out. Thanks!!

Wow!! Those are quite impressive @lion king !! What kind of lion is the one in the third pic? Very nice fish! I’ve always wanted a lion but afraid of getting stung. Plus I have small fish

Thanks, that's a blackfoot, Parapterois heterura.

One of my favorites as well. I only have a single one.............they have gone up drastically in price and more rare over the past couple of years.

He has a lot of pink hues in him as well........that seems to be vary among individuals.
