Mushrooms are mushrooms, and zooanthids are zooanthids. But only softies are softies. 
My favorites of those I have:
Koji Wada pink nepthea from Unique Corals
Japanese Deep water sarcophyton - mine from Zeppelin at RC
Giant thick stem heteroxenia

I have a frag of the Koji Wada pink Nepthea, and three no named Stereonepthea frags in my softie tank. Check Divers Den they sometimes have some cool and rarer softies. One that I'm interested in getting is a Litophyton.

In my area both parazoanthus and snake polyps are seldom ever found in shops!
