Wrasses especially fairy wrasses are my favorite! Looking for a place I can purchase rare wrasses and or possible pairs. Living in Nebraska makes it hard. So I'm looking for a good reputable online place to purchase rare or semi hard to get wrasses. Thanks for any insight.

Also from nebraska you didn't specify town. Are you familiar with ruff waters in Omaha they get a lot of higher end wrasses in. I would give them a call. I know they do a little business out west so they may be able to arrange delivery too. I get a lot of coral online but I order most of my fish through them because they have a pretty solid doa policy with their supplier and they make sure it eats before I get it.

I have heard of them, never been there....I didn't know they carried live stock, they need a better website!
I live in Papillion.

He does primarily aquarium maintenance so he doesn't keep regular shop hours. If you call or email you can make an appointment and see what they have in stock or they are good about ordering in what you want. They usually have a handful of wrasses in stock. The coolest if seen was they had a Scott's wrasse a while back.

Picturesque Aquatics has really really nice and healthy livestock. Shipping is a little more than some other places, but since they're out of Hawaii, I dont think its overly much. Prices are good on flames, rhomboids and some of the flashers. I picked up pairs and singles and they are all doing great. He has a good guarantee as well.

@Picturesque Aquatics

I just got a POTO conditioned Cirrhilabrus cf. lanceolatus from pieces of the ocean. The fish are conditioned and eating and very healthy. Excellent packaging. He always has a few wrasses coming through. Highly recommend.

Also NY aquatics recently had Diamond tail flashers in but Ive never ordered through them.

Zoa collector and divers den are both outstanding
Zoacollector, the shipping isn't bad at all really, and the fish are very reasonably priced and well cared for and top of the line
Dd's reputation is well established. You will pay a bit more but the customer service and warranty makes it worth it

Jim sold NE Aquatics Supply....and his connection...the days of getting rare wrasses in NE are over unless it's a ops!
