Rasta frag?

So I got a rasta frag last week, and put it on the bottom of the tank. Tank is an AGA 90 with 2x250 Mh and 2x t5 actinics. One of the polyps opened for about a day, then closed up again. Moved it about 1/3 of the way up and it's still shut. Starting to look like its opening, but wondering where you all have had good luck with you Rastas. Thanks.

i feel they do best mid way in tank good light but not too much and some flow not really high flow. i have mine places a few places in the tank some with veryhigh light and some with not allot of light and strong flow, and low flow. but they seem to do best mid way with med flow.

Mine grow well no matter where I put it. Just give em time

Thanks. Moderate flow and medium light was what I was told. Maybe I'm just impatient....all the other frags that came opened within a day or so, so I wasn't sure if Rastas were just real finicky. I'll leave them be for a week or so and see how they do. Thanks for the replies.

Not looking great....as in condition of closed polyps, but I'm leaving them alone. Fingers crossed. Curious to see what the hype is about.

Took my Rastas a while to settle in and I discovered that they do NOT like to be moved. Once I found a spot and let them be they have done fine. Good luck.
