Rastas Placement

I am picking up a frag of rastas this weekend.They will be going in my 28g NC HQI with upgraded pc/moonlight hood.Do they like a lot of light,or less lighted areas?Just wondering where I should place them.

When in my MH tank, they were in the sand (250W HQI-SE). Tank is 24" deep.

Now that they are in my nano with T5's, I have them mid tank. In both cases, they did/are doing well.

I got a frag last week, I got them under a 250 DE 10000 K Metal Halide, now I got 2 babies coming out, they are about 20" from the light.

They definitely are slow growers and stay pretty small (perhaps it is just me). I have about 25-30 polyps around a small rock and that took a while to get to.

good question... I got some about two weeks ago, hardly opened, T5's 30" deep on sand, should I move them up? all other zoas and palys are opened fine under the same conditions.
