Rastas... what's the appeal?

So I noticed that Rastas won the favorite zoa poll by a substantial amount, but for some reason I just don't find them that appealing. Perhaps its because I have not seen any in person, but the photos I have seen, even high quality photos seem dull to me. The colors on these guys just don't seem to pop like many others that I have seen, ie VDMs, Rainbows, and PEs.

Am I missing something?
