The same way you added the first 3 posted ?How do I add a photo
It’s been running for 5 weeks, I put fritz turbo start and live sand in the tank so it has bacteria, and waited for the nitrogen cycle to complete and then got all parameters straight and they have been stable for 2 weeks now, and the corals are open and doing fine, so are my hermitsYou want my honest opinion ?
it’s too new for corals of any kind .
there is no life or bacteria to support corals .
How long has it been running ?
I would probably wait 7 weeks for coral to be safe. It’s been running for 5 weeks, I put fritz turbo start and live sand in the tank so it has bacteria, and waited for the nitrogen cycle to complete and then got all parameters straight and they have been stable for 2 weeks now, and the corals are open and doing fine, so are my hermits
The corals arrow gsp and mushrooms, I check water daily and dose calcium Bc it was low and all parameters are fine and if they do spike or do down too low or high I am preparedThe corals may struggle if the uglies settle in. Sometimes cyano or diatoms irritate them. They do look like easy corals though so should be okay if you stay on top of it. Add a CUC when the brown comes...
The fritz stuff is just for a cycle and not really for the diversity of maturation of a reef tank. There is so much more then just that...

Will the bloom affect coral if I keep it under controlthose corals wont use up much alk or ca... water changes should keep up.
What I mean is that diatoms will bloom and sometimes cyano and GHA as this is part of the white dry rock maturing as it is pretty sterile environment.

He's done this several times before... unless he's just trolling us. He "fully cycles" a tank and adds a ton of livestock, posts "emergency" threads when stuff starts crashing, and calls those of us that try to help him names (at least one of his previous threads had to be heavily edited by the mods). You want my honest opinion ?

That’s what I was think, like grabbing a thing that squirts water gently like a syringe to brush the algae offThey should be okay... just sometimes if they get irritated you have to brush it off as they can close up.
ya or a soft bristle tooth brush... snails and hermits will help eat it. I wouldn't add them until the food shows up thoughThat’s what I was think, like grabbing a thing that squirts water gently like a syringe to brush the algae off
I asked them to rate my setup. So you don’t have to barge in her like you call the shots. I asked them to rate it and they were giving me tips on algae blooms and stuff, so kind your own businessHe's done this several times before... unless he's just trolling us. Don't waste your time with this one...
Nice, thanks for the help, glad to see someone helping me, instead of criticizing me like Erin1971Texas doesya or a soft bristle tooth brush
