What are you trying to do? If you are trying to cycle the tank, then you are not doing it right because you already have fish in there.
Two choices if you are trying to cycle the tank:
1. The right way. Take all the fish and CUC out and have the LFS or a friendly aquarist keep them for you. Then, place one shrimp in the tank and leave it there, wait for the cycle to complete.
2. The "I'm stuck with the fish so what do I do now" way. Cook all the shrimp and eat it with some beer. Enjoy. Feed the fish sparingly with whatever fish food you have, only once a day and only what they can eat within 1 minute. Check ammonia and nitrites daily, do a large (50%) water change if you detect even a trace of ammonia or nitrite. Check nitrates weekly. When your ammonia and nitrites are persistently 0 or undetectable over a week, and you have nitrates climbing, then you are cycled and can go on routine feeding and water changes.
If your tank is already cycled and you are just asking about how to feed shrimp:
1. You do not need to specifically feed your CUC (crabs and snails). They will eat whatever is left over by the fish and the fish poop.
2. Not all fish will eat raw shrimp. If your fish do not eat your shrimp, stop feeding shrimp and look for something else. Flakes, pellets, etc.
HTH!!
