Cycling a biocube 32 for the first time and I have had this raw shrimp in the tank for 2 days. Amonia has spiked to 2.00PPM but Nitrates and Nitrites show 0.00. I know I need my amonia to return to zero. What should I look for with the nitrates and nitrites? I have also been adding a cap full of mb7 every day for the last 5 days. Instructions say to add a capful a day for two weeks.

That is one fuzzy shrimp ! If You try to remove it It might just disintegrate . A whole shrimp was a little overkill for a 32 gl. keep adding the bacteria in a bottle( good that your doubleing upon the dose) & wait for it all to balance. It will happen.
As for watching No2/No3 Usually the Am will spike,You seeing this now .This will drop as the Nitrites will go sky high & drop. Nitrates will get real high Now it's time for a water change. This is how the cycles goes, there are exceptions but that's for later discussion.
Oh Ya ,Welcome to R2R You found the best place for this sort of info . Folks here love to help beginners !

What @cracker said was spot on.

Your Ammonia will stay high for a bit as the bacteria grows, populates, and consumes. This will turn to NitrItes, and will stay high for a bit as those bacteria grow, populate, and consume. Your NitrAte is the end byproduct of the cycle.

Yours will probably go faster than mine, as I have a bare-bottom tank, however, mine took 35 days to run its' course, and that was with adding bacteria (Dr Tims).

Just be patient with it (it's the hardest part, I know), but it will do its' thing. Running lights-out on your tank will also aid you in not developing a large amount of algae during the cycle.

Everything above is true.

Get used to sitting around waiting for things to happen in this hobby!!! In return, also be ready to jump into action when things do happen!
Good luck and welcome to R2R!

Awesome... thank you. I'm not in a rush. I could rather take my time and get things right.
