Not sure what is going on, or even if anything is wrong. I have two RBT in my tank, they started as one, and then split about 3 months ago. The smaller of the two has (in the past day) moved for the first time in months, and is now shrunken up and protruding from the tip of each tentacle is a clear blob looking mass. I have never seen this before and looking for any information on what is going on, and what this means? Please help.

The other nem is normal.

I haven't seen that before. Hopefully someone has some experience with this and can shine some light.

My thought is that it is okay and just wait to see what happens.

I have not seen this either. It looks like it is on one side. Did it brush something and get stung? You may look closer and see if you can find anything near it.

Thanks for the responses, the picture does not do it justice, it is on all sides. I have not been able to find anything online about it yet. I will send Marvin and Anemonekeeper PMs here shortly after dinner.

What are your water parameters?

Salinity 1.024
Alkalinity 7.4
PH 8.1 (a little low)
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Ammonia 0

Mag 1200
Calcium 420

He has continued to move through the night, and is not back near his original hole, the clear masses extending from the ends of each tentacle have seem to of receded, but there is still obvious holes/divots in the ends of each tentacle from where the clear masses were.

All in all it seems more normal then yesterday, but still deflated and hiding.
