My RBT is either sick or dying i cannot tell I have experience with nems but one has never gotten sick like this before. He was fine yesterday and the day before fully inflated and to day when i was doing the water change i noticed he moved about an inch to the left of where he was and underneath him was a slime layer on the rock and he also had slime on him and his mouth was open. He is in a tank with silver xenia and african blue xenia but they are not close enough to harm him and the frog spawn is in a corner of the tank. He does not have flow directly blowing on him just around him.
paramiters
ph 8.3
sg 1.026
temp 82
nitrate < 5mg/l
nitrite o mg/l
ammonia 0mg/l
phosphate < 0.5 mg/l
ca 440
alk 12 dkh
the tank is turning over 13 and a half times per hour
skimmer is on 24/7 for dry skim
refugium with chaetomorpha.
He is under halide lights
I use brightwell neo-marine salt and let it mix for 24 hours and match temp ph and salt and for the gasses to balance.
I use brightwell reef code A and B in equal amounts
I use aqua vitro 8.4 for ph.
I use aqua vitro balance to regulate the difference between ca and alk.
Please help I don't want him to die in the tank but i don't want to give up on him either my hospital tank is not good enough to nurse him back to health.
I feed him about once every ten days a silverside soaked with zoecon ( liquid multi-vitamin)
All help is appreciated. thank you:squigglemouth:
