RBTA acclimation tips

I always just throw them in. One thing I found to be important is to scout out a place for it so it can easily retract from the light or extend out into it with the same considerations for flow. I have never had one move on me following this practice.

Some people will recommend drip acclimating which is probably fine. Either way they will get in your tank and inflate and deflate several times before they finally stabilize.

Float for 30 minutes and then place in the spot you want it. Worked out great for the 6 that I have so far.

We have had one for about 5 months now and it is awesome! twice the size he was at the store. we drip acclimated ours for about 45 min it did fine, and we also asked the store where their temp & salinity was kept, and what lighting schedule that it had been used to, also how long it was at their store. it might move around a bit till it finds a place it likes/ ours like mid flow, and a spot on a rock next to a lip by a shelve which is what we understood they favor. they will do better with a clown, it will actually feed the nem. Nems do weird things, like deflating by squeezing out all there water every so often, you will know it is happy when it stays in one place for awhile, Good Luck!

I put it in a tube and slow add some of my water to the tub until its about 50/50 and then I just let them in. Good luck!
