We have a Red Sea 250 with (5) Mocha Vinci Clowns and they have no interest in hosting our RBTA's. We started with (3) of them and now we are up to (6). These crazy things just keep splitting. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have a 10 gallon cube. There are 2 Goldflake maroon clowns in it that have never seen an anemone. My tank has only been running for about 5 weeks. Nem started hosting the clowns within 48 hours. I have a feeding ring that I keep directly over the anemone. Not sure if that is what helped but mine love there Black Widow Anemone!!!!

Maroons naturally host in btas, unlike ocellaris and perculas.

When I had a bta, I was never able to do it. I tried video and pictures. But one allegedly foolproof way is to confine them all in a box, and let nature take it’s course over several days to a week.

At least I am not the only one. After buying the RBTA I actually like them so much that I would have them with or without clowns. Will post some pics:

Too funny, we added our clowns almost 3 months ago and not even a brush up against one of the nems.

My black widow is hiding in a cave right now. My 2 clowns stay in it constantly.

I’m not sure which issue is worse, clowns won’t pay attention to it or Nem hides.....

Just got a beautiful pair of Black Lightning Storms, drip acclimated them, put them in and they went right to by GBTA. Success!!!
