So after a ton of research I decided to pick up a RBTA and a pair of clowns. I found one at a LFS that had a small pair of Pink Skunk clowns hosting in it... I mean really rubbing it down. So I pulled the trigger. In the bag they wouldnt leave it. I drip acclamated them all together and got them in the tank. I put the anemone in first and allowed it to attach its foot (it had no bubbles in the bag but after 2 mins in my tank its full of bubbles) I pulled the clown out and released them right at the anemone (mainly because I have a Mystery Wrasse that is kind of a bully) but they both went straight in. They have all been in for about an hour the anemone looks amazing. After about 10 mins one clown ventured out then about 45 mins later the other one did. now they are not going back in it. Do you think they are just exploring the new tank? The mystery wrasse is not picking on them but checking them out and one is trying to hide in a sea star.

Sorry for the novel. Thanks ahead of time.

I have to agree, clowns seem to be kinda adventurous but after a bit of time they will go back to their "safe spot" i miss having a pair of clowns, the way they interact with their nems and each other is really awesome. Enjoy the show!

Ok Hopefully the will. They are awesome together. and the RBTA is amazing looking I really love to see them interact.

When I came home earlier I did notice them swimming at the far back of the tank close to the surface of the water. At first I thought my mystery wrasse was bullying but I havent noticed him pay them any attention. Im running a MP10 in lagoon mode on about 75% power is there a chance that is too powerful for them and they cant swim in the area around the RBTA?

Nope it just takes time. Took my 5 clowns months to host in my tank. I'd given up then one day...just be patient.
