I have two nems in my tank, an RBTA and a GBTA. They are both in equal flow and light. The RBTA is huge with bubbling tips and looks great. The GBTA is the size of a quarter with scrawny tentacles and doesn't look good at all. They get the same amount of feeding as well...

So can anyone explain why the one nem is fine and the other is having so many issues?

I’m going to guess that you don’t have a GBTA, but a Cribrinopsis crass. This pretty, green, little anemone has commonly been sold as a GBTA. They stay small and multiply like rabbits. At one point I had over 50 of them in my tank before declaring war. Again, I’m guessing, but I’d keep an eye on this little guy.
