Any good news?

Well ive been checking my perams daily and have done 2 20% w/c and checkin levels now as im posting this. I will post them asap for any thoughts or advice. Also would it be a good thing to move the more fragile animals to the qt as long as levels are good it seems to be alot more stable at this point or would that just add to the stress?

Well im fighting a no3 spike. Im doing my 4 w/c in the morning. Dosing prime before adding the new water. Ive been doing about 20 to 30% w/c at a time. Should i do more will that help? Havent lost anything [emoji120]. But my levels are not droping still around 20 to 40ppm. How can this last.
Dnt know what i was thinking switching that much rock at one time. Learning my lesson best way i guess[emoji27]. Never hapin again.
Anything i could do to raise my no loss chances. Havnt got a reply about moving livestock to qt or if that would just add stress. Someone anyone tell me sumthing good. Thanks

I would suggest Vodka.

1 shot for you, and 1/4 a shot for your aquarium each day. Nitrates really aren't a big deal unless you have sensitive inverts.

Long term my favorite way of dealing with nitrates is growing algae in a refugium.

Ok so do a 75% w/c add 50% back do another 50% w/c then refill yes this leaves you with 25% water in your tank. This method works I’ve seen it. My best friend did kinda the same thing and his spiked bad losing fish and corals. I found an article that has this equation in it so we tried it. Complete success, I’ll see if I can find you the article.

I typically drink Absolute Vodka in mixed drinks. When I was carbon dosing I used one of the cheapest unflavored vodkas I could find.
