RBTA Hiding and only 1 clown eating

Help! My RBTA is 3 days old now.. the first day it hid itself in a hole inside a stone, yesterday I saw 1 of my clowns hosting it.. But today the RBTA is hiding again

Is this normal ? Also, only my small clown is eating the big one is not. I'm feeding frozen brine and tried pellets. clowns and RBTA are put it at the same time. Acclimated by floating clear Tupperware on tank while leds are off then adding water per a youtube video. Pics attached when they were playing.. Now the RBTA is hardly seen because it's hiding

Water check you mean ? Both pestores I went to said "safe" age of tank 6-7weeks

6 or 7 weeks might be early for an anemone but they will move til "they" find where they want to be .

Your system is likely way too unstable for a nem at 6-7 weeks IMO. "Safe" could honestly mean anything...

Have you inspected your clowns for diseases?

No disease, I've been looking at them closely everyday

I did read this, I'm just worried because I thought it already got his spot when the nem was being hosted

Keep in mind, a nem and clown fish do not require each others company to survive. Just because a clown has chosen to host the nem, by no means does that mean the nem is happy.

Way to soon for an rbta IMO. I reccomend getting your own test kits and watch the basics, especially alk mag and no3. Calc if you plan for hard corals also.
As for clowns not eating, might consider @ReefFrenzy ...my clowns wernt fans of brine, they go nuts over the lrs however, as well the nem.

And do not rule out possibility of it being sick, not eating could be a first visible sign. Did you quarantine them?

API is ok to start, but invest in more Salifert test kits, they're much more accurate. It's a good thing you got the Salifert ALK test kit, important overall, but specifically for the nem.
