I got my anemone 3 week ago and it really red and 5” diameter wide when fully inflate. My rbta seem pretty healthy in the first 2 weeks until I have nitrate swing from 2-10 in 3 days. My anemone right now is losing color and defltate every other day. I try to feed it frozen shrimps( big chunk) everyday to make sure it gain color back. However, the color stop losing im couple day ago but it keep deflate. What should I do now. I set my anemone nect to my GBTA. Does it cAsue my rbta lost color because I heard someone mention this issue before.

Running kessil vs t5 . The only thing have changed is nitrate

That looks ok...try running the lights a little less intensity and see if he clors back up...then u can return to original intensity slowly...

If you are feeding a big chunk of shrimp daily it could be taking a lot of energy to digest.
I'm not sure if that is your issue or not, but maybe try just mysis, squirted towards it only a couple times a week.

I would think if your lights were too strong they normally would hide in a cave area, but I do think they may not be able to tolerate high light at this time, so a ramp down might be a good idea.
