Hi Guys

I've had my Rose Bubble Tip Anemone for about 2 months now.
I'm having absolutely no joy with it. It's hiding in dark holes. Not really keen on eating.
My tanks lighting is fine. Flow is fine.
Parameters are
No3 - 0
P04 - 0.04
Cal - 440
Alk - 7.2
Mag - 1340

Is there anything I'm missing? It's obviously ver unhappy.
Everything else in my tank is loving life.

what kind of light? In my experience when they go to dark places it's because the lighting is too much. Can you turn them down?

I have 2 radion Xr30 pro gen 3 on the radion stands.
Current,y running at about 60%

Maybe a little but I don't think that's it. Im still thinking to much light. They hide when its too much and stretch when its not enough ime. Not sure where you got them from or what type of lighting they had then under but I bet it wasnt 2 radion xr30 pros. Just my opinion. I would turn them down more if you can and see. Also when they go too long in a hole or under a rock I will flip the rock over to put it on top.

It could be the problem. But I also have some SPS. I'm not sure how low I should have my lights then.

Should not bother the sps to turn them down for a little bit and slowly ramp it back up. They might grow a little slower during this period but they will be just fine.

I wouldn't change your lighting because of the other corals in your tank. I got rid of my bubble tips because the please didn't outway how much of a pain it was. Wait till it gets settled in then starts to move on top of everything, lol

Ya true bobman, don't think it would mess with them to much, I usually put a couple pieces of screen over the area and take one off every week. I also don't have the option to turn down the % of my light running MH.

I hear that they do have dimming options on mh ballasts now but I am not sure I like that idea with mh lighting. I used to do the same when I ran mh and after I move I might go back to some mh led combos would have here but with how old the house is and the amount of power I am using for the tank I was worried the wireing wof the house was not up to par so I went all led but with 4 mars aquas running I dont think I really saved much power at the end of the day.

not just the RBTA I want to change for. It's also my LPS. I'm very new to SPS, like I only have 3 frags. So far my tank is mainly LPS. I want to make them happy

Ok, didn't know that, are your LPS lower in the tank(bottom half)? If not you could move them down a bit, also to make more room for sps[emoji106]
