Here's an update for everyone.

He's looking the best he has in 3 days. Hopefully everything goes good and I can bring him back to 200%

You can try adding microvert liquid coral and anemone food. I did this near the mouth of a sick sebae anemone I got from Petco and within a week it now eats raw shrimp.

Well I hate to bring the bad news. But I woke up this morning with chunks of him floating around my tank. He started disintegrating so I had no choice but to pull him out and toss him.

Thanks again for everyone trying to help me rescue him. But from now on no more anemones for me.

Dont give up on them yet everyone has creatures die part of the life of the tank i had 2 rbtas one died months after having them other almost dinner plate size done nothing different

I know how you feel, i lost one of mine not to long ago(walked into a power head). Don't give up on anemones all together just because of one bad incident like this, the place you bought him from most likely knew something was wrong,but sold him to you any ways just to get your money. If you do decide to get another anemone, ask to see its foot, if there are any tears don't get it, also check the mouth and the stickiness of the tentacles.

What kind of flow did you say you had? Just the single powerhead? I would probably be running 2 opposing PH's in a 4' tank. BTAs love flow.

I'm running a rio 1100 main pump and a 850 hydor. Kinda facing one another so it creates a turbulence in the tank. It pulls the sand off the bottom at times.

I am using the two wave makers listed below as well as the output from my 25 x 16 x 4 HOB sump/refugium.

JEBAO/JECOD RW8 WIRELESS WAVEMAKER
JEBAO/JECOD RW10 WIRELESS WAVEMAKER
13W UV Sterilizer w/ Submersible Pump Filter 150 gal
I only run the UV once a week. Long enough for 10 water cycles.

I don't really consider the return as part of the flow necessary; it's more to get the skimmer involved. The 850 hydor might just be pointed in a way that moves sand in certain spots, but might not be all the turnover you need. I've run 4-5 pumps with the lowest being 750+gph on a 75G, so maybe consider your flow before another BTA. How's the rest of the coral in the tank?

I don't understand the part-time UV. You can probably stop that altogether if that's all you're running it. Are you running a WP10? I'm not familiar with the "RW10", but the RW8 is great.
