Earlier last week I picked up a smaller rainbow bubble tip nem from a local guy for a steal. I have a 13.5 fluval evo (I throw my build link in somewhere” but it hasn’t opened until today and all of the arms are receded. I attached a photo, it’s a small guy, about the size of a penny. I know you aren’t supposed to feed them for the first week. But I wasn’t sure if it was starving. My parameters are stable and I’ve had the tank running 7.5 months now. Any tips?

My concern with your set up is the stock lighting.
I am not sure they push enough PAR for the BTA.
As long as he’s stuck, he’s fine, just give him some more time.
If he starts to run to the top, that might further indicate a lack of light.

I only fed mine, once every couple of weeks or so, they really don’t require this.
That being said, they love light.
