A little over 2 years ago, one of our local reefing friends gave us a "free to good home" 3" rbta. We added it to our 300g display in the hopes that our resident Ocellaris clown pair would ditch the palys they had claimed for the new anemone. We gave up that notion after 3 months and plopped the anemone in our prop-tank/refugium which also had a resident female Ocellaris clown. Four months later, out of the blue, she decided to make that rbta her home.

The rbta has split several times. At one point we traded in a rock w/9 of them to a close by LFS. It's looking like we may need to thin the crop out a bit again or our coral prop-tank is going to wind up being an anemone tank, LOL!

We just setup one of those 30g Deep Blue rimless tanks as a nano LPS/softie tank and love it.

That's a nice prop tank! LOL!

Hahah... Thanks Rev. We downsized about a month ago from a 75g to a 50g. We've tried going bb and wall to wall frag racks, just always ends up being too much maintenance. Not to mention, we need to keep the resident momma Clown and Foxface happy.

We're gonna have to find a home for that rbta rock on the left soon though - babies keep migrating off of it and onto my corals :squigglemouth:

Very nice tanks!!! You guys are having a problem with over population and I can't find a good BTA in my area to save my life. If ya need to downsize again, I will give you my addy!!!! LOL

I got rid of 6 last week. Next split I will gladly give it away for cost of shipping. Got one from joe knows reefs last live sale and it has split 3 times. Nice rainbow BTA. Sorry for the thread high jack Mike lol

When it splits again I definatly want one just let me know. I have three green ones now and cant find any other colors around here. I got it from a local reefer who got it from a store 200 miles away Our lfs wont order much of anything sw. Care to post a pic of the ones you have? It amazes me how many different color morphs there are in bta's

Just let me know when anyone is ready to ship some and I will gladly pay the shipping!!!
