Hello everyone

i was wonderng, what is the overal opinion when using your rodi set up? let me explain.
i use my rodi system every 10 weeks, roughly. i fill up a large bin i use to store my water, then store my rodi system away unill my water runs low in the bin.
Normaly i leave the water in the rodi cartridges etc untill i use it again, i let it run for 5 mins beofe i store the water. Would water sitting inside the rodi system for 10 weeks start to go bad?
Do you undo the cartridges and empty all the water out of the rodi system untill you re-use it again?

Sounds like you are doing it right. Allowing some of the filters to dry out (such as the sediment and carbon) likely won't hurt, but others (such as the DI resin) should be kept moist once opened. I think I recall reading that the RO membranes should also be kept wet once used, but that may not be true. In either case; so long as you flush out the storage water (as you are doing), then storing everything wet is better than storing it dry.
