Randy I was told that it is possible to reactivate catalytic carbon with hydrogen peroxide.

If so would you please tell me how to do it. I have 3% and 20% on hand.

While I've seen research papers that studied this, especially with both iron (as a catalyst) and hydrogen peroxide, I've not seen a home recipe for how to do it or how successful it can be.

I know reefers have had some partial success in regenerating GAC by heating in a microwave (not a normal oven), but I do not have a ready reference.

Thank you Randy for the quick reply.

Is there anything I can do with it or is it just better to toss it and get new.

Nearly everyone tosses it.
