Re aquascaping

x2-
There are no guarantees yes or no- the idea that we could cover each variable that could "possibly" or "probably" spike nutrients, do to re'scaping, is highly unlikely.

That being said, Tips
#1 I blow the rocks and coral free from debris and detritus, prior to rescaping.
#2 I run that water through a closed loop, and using a micron filter sock.
#3 I also stir the sand at that time, After checking for gas pockets.
#4 Then and only then- once nutrient rich particles have been mechanically removed to the point that the water in the display is again clear, - Then I begin a re'scape.

#5 My Personal #1 Rule in re'scaping is....... I use Only NEW water during a re'scape.

During a 'scape- corals are firing their defense stingers, and chemicals.... to reuse water from the display will compound this concentration, and Can Very Likely Kill Fish.

Enjoy your re'scape!!!
Then keep your hands outtta tank.
