Re-did tank but fish are fighting in quarantine

Im new to saltwater tanks. I had 2 tomatoe clownfish in my tank for a few weeks. I decided I wanted to add sand and new rock to the tank so I moved the clowns to my smaller quarantine tank to give some time for the rocks and sand to cycle. Theyve been in there 2 days and sadly the male turned aggressive and I feel like the females going to die shes pretty beat up. I'm debating on throwing one of them in the new tank setup but I hate to cycle with fish. Currently I'm on a health quarantine so I cant go get a booster until the weekend. What would you do in my situation? What tips do you have?

Can you make some kind of divider for the tank to separate them? Egg crate may work or something similar

No sadly I had nothing ready for a situation like this. I looked around before I posted this for something to separate them. I've started dripping the beat up clown to the DT and hoping for the best.

If the tank was already cycled you might not have another one by adding more rock and sand, to me it depends on how much was added and the size of the tank. I’ve added 10-15 lbs of rock before and was fine but it’s a 240 gallon so have some wiggle room. Now if it’s a 50 gallon or so it could be an issue. If you have any seachem stability you could try that and throw the female back in the display.
