Well I recently decided to pack it ibn and give up on my 15 gallon. I cant get it clean and algae even close to free without it being constantly dark. I've scrubbed rubber vacuumed the s out of everything quite a few times, took out my snails and shrimp and have been obviously reluctant to add coral at all or any more inverts for that matter... The two Clowns i have get along very well considering the conditions they love to sleep in the hair algae but I would love to give them some more interesting and healthy options for them. Being that the 15 gallon is tainted AF I wanted to just start fresh with a similar red sea brand salt Coral Pro ( * unless advised otherwise ) but with higher alk and so on. I've added a legend for areas aside from everywhere i request judgment and recommendation its (*). Thank you
I'm starting over with a 29 gallon long right beside it almost. I am changing filters to sachem / sicce HOB style Tidal 55.
Red sea coral pro as my salt as i have a small pail.
I was thinking to go bare bottom or maybe an area where the rocks are, but I was thinking to go with some different options for rock or branch type live rock this time as the dry rock is the harvesting area for the green monster hair algae, like the 80s of hair algae. so i don't want to add water or filter media or anything (*)
I was also wondering if a really good clean in Rodi and a dry in the sun would help clean them bishes up (*) or just discard if advised. Id like to move everything over as soon as possible and will wait for a while to add coral for some cycling time ( it will be super low stocked tank for a while like 2 fish and inverts )
Its in my basement and there is pretty much zero light at all times of the day and the fish are constantly lethargic and never bubbly like when the lights are on schedule. I'm suspecting it was my rodi filters causing the issue, maybe was overheated a time or two as I'm using a quick release system ( pain in my butt ) but have since replaced my filters.
I use a Tunze nano ato which I'm sure can keep up. The hair algae is clogging my floss every other day and causing the flow to be restricted and running my ato at night when i sleep and or when i go away. I've almost overflowed and ****** the salinity 2 times and I'm sick of the small surface area for cleaning.
Now in terms of dosing I have all for reef which i was considering when using the blue bucket salt,
i also have used micro bacter in the beginning and further down the line to my chagrin I think it may have killed my phos levels early on but not sure. (*)
I would be grateful for anything you guys could recommend or correct me on. I want to avoid the same thing to happen again at least as bad as it has been. I don't want to give up entirely as i desire a coral reef in my home and a spot for these Clowns to grow old and healthy.
Thanks in advance and apologies for the lack of grammar and structure to my thoughts. I will post pictures shortly

also there is 90000 micro snails all over my glass like i cant even try to count them. Not sure how or why but any time i have scrapped them all off they just return. Looked at them undr a mocroscopre through the glas and was amazed at what i saw.
