Hey guys, I have old live rock in my tank with the expected little bits of algae, sponges and other growths. I set it up when it was mostly fish only and I did the back wall “rock wall” and it’s not ideal for adding corals. My question is if I’m going to redo my scape and want to epoxy some rocks. What is the best way to do this?

Get a shallow tub, a big bottle of BRS superglue, some insta-set and a spray bottle. Keep the rocks wet until you use them, dry off the area to glue and just glue them together to start. Spray down the assembled structure every 5-10 minutes. I do suggest e-marco mortar if you can afford it. Check out BRS's video on the negative space aquascape. Just keep it wet!

pull em out. clean with toothbrush or wirebrush spots where they are going to have epoxy. epoxy, when dry pull apart any loose connections and put superglue in epoxy mold and put back together. let dry. place in tank...you can also superglue while in tank.

Awesome thanks! I will look into the e-macro mortar. I will have a busy weekend but hopefully some pics to post after it’s done!
