Would they be able for the aquarium size?
What’s the total volume going to be roughly? You said build the sump yourself. Was the 16 in 36x24x16 the height of the tank so slightly shallow? Or tall and narrow.

36Lx 24D x 16H. Sump will be a 20g long in 3 sections. section 1 will include skimmer and intake from tank and second would be a fuge and 3rd is return.

What are yalls thoughts on the Maxspect Jump 65w lights. I can get a 2 used (7mo) for $200 locally.

Well the original tank fell through as the seller that was suppose to deliver it for an extra fee sold it to someone else for more than what I was going to pay including the fee but picked it up. Don't blame them.

So found a second another one which is a better deal. It will come with stand canopy/hood, aquarium, sump, RO SSS skimmer, heater, return pump, and rotating wavemaker/PH.

Same footprint, so all suggestions still work.

So yall mentioned the NooPsyche lights. Would 2 of these "NooPsche K7 Mini" do the job for awhile? I would add a 3rd later. Again this is on a new tank that will start off as softy and lps and then sps awhile later.

I am pretty much capped at $200 for lights right now.
