I set up a 20L in my basement next to my water mixing station to utilize as a grow out tank. It is officially cycled and ready for some coral! I have a few small pieces of coral in my display tank (90 gal) that I am thinking about moving down to the 20L. I got lazy for a while and my nitrates and phosphates pretty much sky rocketed. Coral does ok, growth is pretty minimal and color is meh.

Would it be a wise decision to move them downstairs (they are not attached to anything and would be easy to move) to let them grow and thrive while I work on getting parameters back in check? Or should I just leave them in the tank?
Corals in question would be:
Hammer
Bi Colored Hammer
Brain
War Coral
Chalice
Duncan
Two different kinds of Blasto
Two different kinds of Candy Cane
Random Zoas/Palys

Completely subjective. if they look healthy right now, I'd leave them and work on your nutrients. move any to the other tank that start to look unhealthy during the process.

I don't know if I'd say they are "healthy" per se. They aren't on their deathbed by any means, but they are definitely not thriving.

Then like I said its really up to you. any changes in environment is can effect them - both adjusting the current tank and moving them to a whole different tank. personally, I'd leave them and work on your nutrients.

If your nutrients are really high, like you indicated, moving them to super clean water may have a more adverse effect than leaving them and slowly bringing down the nutrients.
