Re-mixing Kalk question

What I have been doing for the past few weeks is to mix 4 tsp kalk with 3 gallons of RO water in a sealed container and let it sit until it settles. Then I have been putting half of a gallon of Kalk water and mixing it with a half gallon of RO water. Basically diluting the mixture. My question is.... am I somehow changing the composition of the kalk (besides diluting it by half)? Is it rendering the kalk useless or is it just diluted? I have been doing it for about 3 weeks now and everything is looking good but I just want to know if i should be using the kalk straight from my mixing container or if my diluted kalk is working just fine for me. Everything is fine! Your just using it at half the effect of full strength. A lot of people just dump in the Kalkwasser and mix it up, whatever is left just sits at the bottom till you add more RO water and mix. The water can only be saturated so much and then the rest just sits at the bottom, thus why they say to let it sit before using.
