I am not happy with how my current rock setup looks and wanted to transform the existing setup into 2 islands. Other than the coralline ontop of the rocks to the right they all have shapes which would stack together quite nicely "the left 4 together and the 3 on the right".

My tank has just about finished going through the diatom phase and I also gave the glass a good cleaning. Also my sandbed is pretty shallow and my liverock is in the sandbed. If using superglue would it be possible to glue the rock together without removing it from the tank.

I currently have 2 ocellaris snowflake clownfish, 2 molly miller blenny, longnose hawkfish, 2 fire shrimp and a mexican turbo snail.

I would prefer not to go through a diatom bloom again, any advice would be really appreciated. Wanted to get all of this out of the way before thinking about corals.

Thank you~

You probably won’t go through a diatom bloom.

Yes , you can use super glue and putty in the tank

I wouldn’t use a huge amount of super glue. Or do one spot at s time I’ve Made fish sick.

I was considering taking out one half each time and then placing it on a towel and super glueing it. Would that be a better idea? It'd afford me a few minutes to play around with the positioning.

I've used super glue for coral plugs and the like but I'm not sure I'd go that route for the rock itself. Typically I arrange my rock so that it's stable on its own and if needed I'll use a bit of the two part putty.

Same , but I use the putty and some glue.

It takes a while to dry.

The brand I have is Tzong Yang instant glue. It says that it works in water and bonds in seconds and their website says it is "Harmless to aquarium creatures"
A cyanocitrate based glue like super glue I assume.

I use both. Somtimes it sticks for literally years. Sometimes not so much.
Glue them putt then glue
The weight of the liverock was too much for the putty once it had set for a bit it easily came apart. Honestly it looks good, having time to play with the positioning outside the tank really helped and I made sure everything was stable. Thank you for the help I will update with pics when the cloudiness settles
