Hello. I am looking for the most colorful fish i can get, that will also have a peaceful temperament for all the fish. For a 50 gal FOWLR tank.

what I am thinking of is
Midas Blenny, Watchman Goby, Royal Gramma, Blue Sapphire Damsel, Flame Hawkfish, Clownfish and Coral Beauty.

is there any other peaceful colorful fish that I could add? Thinking of changing out the coral beauty for something else.

A pair of captive-bred orchid dottybacks will add an unforgettable fuchsia streak in the aquarium. Caveat: some people continue to report aggression with (wild?) specimens. I haven't.

Pygmy geometric perchlet (hawkfish) look like they're covered with scarlet tiles grouted with white. They're beautiful, but somewhat cryptic.

There aren't many dwarf angels that are suitable for a 50g tank. The flameback angelfish is prettier (in my eyes) than the coral beauty, but has the same colour pallette. The Lemonpeel angel may be a bigger coral nipper than most.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will look into all of them.

I have a single captive-bred Orchid dottyback and it's... well... playful? it chases away my Pajama Cardinals from the rock if they even look at it sideways, and when I first introduced my Flame Hawkfish it rammed it into a wall 3 times... since then it's just taken to chasing the PJ cardinals again. I don't think I'd call it aggressive, but it's definitely territorial...

I'm thinking about two more to my RSM250 to make it a proper harem. My pairs only chase each other (rarely) -- they leave all other fish alone.

Splendid fairy wrasse? Got this one a few months ago, I love the color! Was kinda skittish at first but is doing well in my fairly agressive tank!

I love the fish, it's a stunner for sure... purplish, pinkish, and blueish depending on the light and the angle it hits its body, it's like one of those mystique/candy paint jobs for a car, and as I said, I wouldn't call it aggression per se, but definitely territorial, it protects its rock like the dickens, except for the clowns, it doesn't mess with the clowns at all, lol. It's also out a lot more now, I think it found its happy place and doesn't mind being out in the open, at first it was super shy. I'd love to get another, but I think it would push my tank over max capacity for fish, hehe.

They really are beautiful, but the sticker shock makes my eyes water. I can get three quarantined purple firefish (which really are almost as pretty) for the price of one of those.
Agreed. I have a small tank with limited space so I wanted something unique without spendinh hundreds like a Candy Basslet:)

Hundreds? I need to use your dealer. I haven't seen them for less than a thousand bucks anywhere in Canada, not that I want one. I might spend that much (and definitely would have to, at a minimum) for centropyge interrupta, but nothing ese. :)
