Hi guys and girls..
one of those silent stalkers and readers here. Some mega talent in the world of reef keeping for sure.
Has anyone ever had a reaction working in a tank?
background..
have a sps reef combined with a love for gigantea anemone's (urgh... I know) and decided in infinite wisdom to introduce a pair of Coral Beauties.. first few weeks all great, then the (almost expected) disappearance of the polyps.. growth still good, but just not working well. on top of that a fox face that developed a taste for las (also like bringing back sps like gonioporas which then subsequently never leave my waters again), so three fast fish need to go.
Monday broke down the tank, caught the fish and off to the LFS. Had really bad bubble algae and blue xenia, so scrubbed like mad (xenia is toxic, not wearing gloves and hands getting cut up pretty badly)
Felt really off colour on Tuesday (luckily not a working day), wednesday at work feeling worse, but soldier on with hands on fire and feeling like I can't breath properly. By wednesday night took a anti-histamine and felt much improved a few hours later. Body feels like a train wreck.. Opted to not work yesterday or today with headaches and muscle pain which is slowly getting better.
Been in the game since 2003 and never had anything like this, saying that, never been able to grow xenia till the last 6 months...
Enough rambling.. anybody had anything like this happen or know anyone who had a reaction??
