So here is my readings
CA 500
Alk. 10.1
MG 1550

I run my CA exact or with my APEX controller
My effluent drip is fast drip not stream and using Reborne course media
My goal is to lower alk to around 8 and CA to 420-450

I am using Kent salt

My DT is 300 gallon cube stocked with SPS

So should I change APEX settings to raise ph in reactor and not melt as so quick or reduce CO2 in and not change APEX setting?

Any help is appreciateda

You cannot do ANYTHING with the reactor to drop calcium that much. Without alkalinity dropping too much. If you raise the reactor pH slightly, that may get the alk to drop to your target and the calcium to drop maybe 15 ppm.

IMO, that is fine and there's no reason to try to drop calcium more. :)

Hey randy thanks, the issue I've noticed is colors getting lighter, less polyp extension and not very good growth. My nitrates are .02,and phosphates .01 so thinkin they are not liking the high levels of mg, CA and AK. Thoughts?
