I'm looking to add a BRS GFO & Carbon reactor to my AIO system (no lower sump).
Is it best to have the return line of the reactor go to the chamber with the return pump going to the DT?

In my case I would place the reactor pump in my second chamber that only holds my heater, and pump the return to my main return pump.

Also should I keep the discharge line under the water level in the return chamber so it does not mess with my ATO/decrease evaporation?

I'm also curious how this reactor might change water levels in my three chambers and DT.....If I have it balanced correctly, hopefully it stays the same.

Thanks with help of my research before I buy hardware!

You will have many options. As a general rule you can put the supply pump and return line in any chamber as long as the output comes after the intake. If the output is first then it will lead to the reactor recirculating some of the water it just cleaned. I prefer submerging the return line because it keeps things quieter.

Thanks! Confirmed my theories! It definitely makes it more difficult to fit a reactor in a small system vs a sump but think the tank will benefit from a reactor vs a media bag. Or am I wrong, overkill???

It surely will benefit. I use a lifegard turbo reactor in my office BioCube.
