Ok this is probably a dumb question but..... I recently added a nextreef reactor to my system, I was running rowaphos but have switched to bio pellets. Either way after a couple of weeks my media moves to the top of the reactor, there is no tumbling of media. Is this normal? Is it ok?

good question i also want to know this just added mine a couple of days ago and was planing to buy a second one for biopellets ....

what kind of pump are you using and with what volume of pellets? I know we had to adjust our flow through our reactor a bit to slow it down (using plumbed ball valve) and that gave us an excellent tumble that has been consistent since installed (about 8 weeks ago now...)

if I can make a suggestion, check out the BRS biopellet reactor - reasonably priced, easy to install, and thus far, very happy with it...
