Due to high phosphates, I’m going to be starting a GFO reactor. I’m going to buy the below setup from BRS, but not sure if I need to buy an additional fitting for the pump. I think I need a 1/2” male to 1/2” quick connect, but I want to make sure.
The reactor is going to be mounted to the back of the tank, with the pump inside my AIO fuge area.

I was under the assumption that it came with everything needed. Maybe try asking in their thread for a quicker answer to your question.

You could easily run phosgauerd in a bag in your aio.
A small amount in a mesh bag goes along way and is very effective and easy to use.
Start with 1/4 cup and monitor daily. When po4 stops going down replace.
When you get to the level you want remove it.
The key is to use a small amount and monitor it daily and lower po4 at a slow rate.
Super simple and cost effective with one less piece of equipment to buy.
Just a thought you may not have considered.
I have used it this way with very predictable results.

That was my original plan, but I kind of liked the idea of running carbon and GFO together.

Just run carbon in a bag too.
Its how I do it. I even have a reactor but never put it online.
Imo its easier to control in bags and thats on my 120 corner overflow with sump.
