Reactor Troubles

Hey guys,
I had purchased an Aquamaxx fluid reactor and I can't for the life of me figure out how to use brs rox 0.8 carbon in this reactor. It seems to me that the carbon is just too fine for the foam pads to keep the media from leaking through. Does anyone have any experience with this specific reactor or tips on how to make this work?

Stack the foam and lower the flow a bit.

flow is as low as I can get it with a ball valve, and what do you mean by stack the foam?

Talked with Marine Depot support, they suggested soaking the carbon, but it still will not stay put. No one else out there with the reactor or this issue?
