I have been using the Red Sea marine care multi test to test during my cycle. Pretty sure I’m towards the end just lowering my nitrates.
When I do the nitrate test am I suppose to read the results from the top or from the side? From the top I’m close to 10ppm as I can tell but from the side it looks like 50ppm. So I’m confused on my results.

Top. Theres a reason on the little carts theres these white circles to put the test vials on.

Top Down. I didnt mind that test for Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrates. Not too sold on the PH, hard for me to tell the difference in those colors. I hated the dKH test on that one, ended up just buying Salifert for that and picked up Salifert Calc and Mag.

Yup, top down is the way to read the Red Sea.

I love my Red Sea tests...Kh, Ca, and Mg. Easy to test! I have a Sera Reef test kit and decided to get Red Sea after much research here. Sera is close enough but Red Sea is much better for the things I have to dose. I'm not familiar with the nitrate test though.

Are you using the Pro Kh or the Marine Care, they are 2 different ways to test KH, I found the Marine Care Test kit hard to read.
