I have 2 fish that have run their course in QT, a midas blenny and a yellow eyed kole tang. They have both done well in QT, out swimming and eating everything I put in. The issue is, the tang has lymphocystis. Should I keep one or both in qt, or add to display?

Thanks
Terry P

I would go ahead with intro to the display. The best way to get rid of Lymphocystis is nutritious food and clean water with excellent parameters. If you're anything like me, your display is doing a better job of providing that than your QT is.

~Bruce, who's currently drip-acclimating a regal angel with a dot or three of Lymphocystis (and who's finished QT) into his display

Sounds good. I'll go ahead and add them tonight after Christmas party, as lights are going out. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Btw, love the regal angel. Can't decide if one is on my list for when I upgrade my 120 or not.

Agree with Bruce. It's a viral infection and the only way to treat it is to provide the best environment possible (water quality, hiding places, food, etc.). If you've effectively eliminated all other potential issues through a good QT regimen then the best place for all of those is in the DT.
