Hey. So yeah I know I have posted a ton so, sorry if anyone is tired of it lol. Anyway my tank is cycled. I have a biocube 32. Everything is stock. I plan on eventually upgrading the lighting. I will be getting a wave maker soon. All I have for flow right now is the stock pump. Just filter floss in the media basket. Anything else I need before adding my first fish? Thanks!

It sounds like you are ready, just make sure as you add fish you don’t add more that your bacteria can handle, it usually takes about 30 days for you bacteria to catch you to the new load and then you can add another fish. If you add to many to quickly you can have an ammonia spike. Congrats on being ready for fish.

Thanks. Yeah I plan on adding things slowly I haven't had a fish tank since I was a kid so I want to make sure I'm keeping up on everything. I want to add zoa's eventually and maybe some soft corals but I'm not sure if that light is sufficient.

Sorry I might have missed a previous post... Did you test your ammonia, nitrite/nitrate levels? It sounds like you are ready though... just make sure to get the right food for your new tank mates. Don't overfeed and do you have a clean up crew they help with the excess waste in the tank. Congrats on getting through the cycle... I know that urge to add things:)

I have checked nitrites, nitrates, and ammonia. I haven't gotten a clean up crew yet but I've heard to wait just a bit so they actually have something to clean up. Thanks!

Yes, just wondering if you had any build up yet, it'll come quickly once you add livestock. We staggered the timing... I think at week 6-7 fish (with testing), 8 - CuC, 9 or 10 corals from the prior tank. You're doing it right! :) Looking forward to seeing a pic of your new fish soon!

Add fish slowly, most peaceful first, so you don’t overload your current export capacity.
Ready to rock, enjoy the journey.
Love your idea of waiting for CUC, these add ammonia as well.
I never add any crabs ever to my CUC, too much trouble and they don’t clean much.....
