We've seen two versions of the PH -- purple eye and Blue (baby blue) eye. We have both and it looks like this is a blue eye.

Sorry, not trying to hijack your thread but what are these? I know its not a purple hornet, I have one of those from Gary but these are very close with the baby blue eye.

I didn't think true hornets had a filled in center? Thought they had more of a ring? Those both look like an awesome morph of a hornet and some sort of "hole sun"
