Hey all, I recently set up my first tank (13.5 gallon nano) and it's been running about a month and a half and has a firefish and a small cleanup crew. Recently I've been noticing that my pH is really low. Like around 7.4 in the late afternoon. I'm pretty sure it's because I live in a college dorm and it's the middle of winter here in Wisconsin so not much opportunity to open the windows and let fresh air in. So my next step I thought was to use kalkwasser. Would you recommend that or is there something else I can do?

So I cracked my window for the night and just checked the pH and it is about 7.7
I also took the lid off the back filtration area to hopefully give more surface area for gas exchange. I will test again this afternoon when it should be at it's peak
