Really low ph

If you really want to worry about pH, then recalibrate your probe, or get a new one, and buy a co2 monitor from Amazon or the like. Then, keep your indoor co2 below 700 (600 is better). This helps more than anything else, IMO, and is long lasting.

Most other things are temporary.

I have a CO2 monitor. It reads between 900 and 700 ppm. If I open a window my PH goes up but I can't keep a window open. I have no way to lower the CO2 of the house at the moment.

Definitely not. Adding pH 7 pure water to seawater at pH 8.1 actually raises the pH above the seawater starting point. lol

Hmmm... The mystery continues then. Today the PH is doing something really weird. Look...

At this point I just roll my eyes at it.... It's like "Oh, what is the PH going to do today"

I did treat the tank Yesterday with flat worm eXit so maybe that is why... Who knows...

Oh!! What is your skimmer / CO2 Scrubber setup? I am using one with a glass skimmer but see minimum benefits. I don't think the glass skimmer moves enough air to make a big impact or I have something not setup right.

I'm using a Skimmer I found on Amazon, the Magtool MT-SQ50- It works incredibly well in my AIO. I'm using the IceCap Medium sized Co2 scrubber.

I'd like to point out that the Icecap branded media didn't seem to color change for me. And since that ran out, I bought a new media in bulk through a veterinary supply website. Exactly 2 weeks in with this media, and I can clearly see about 1/5 or 1/4 of the media has changed to obvious violet color.

Update…
Today at 5.20pm I changed the seneye slide…

Think we can safely say there was a reading error‍!
Have been doing a bit more digging on the seneye, and this seems to be a known issue for some people. The slide only reads accurately for a week and then gradually the ph appears to decline until the slide is switched out!
Panic over, but slightly regretting this purchase!

Glad to hear that it was a probe error!
