Well since changing to LED's my tank has no heating issues. But now since I use kalk for ATO my evaporation rate has gone down considerably. This has caused issues with maintaing calcium levels. I had about 1 to 1 1/2 gallon of evaporation per day prior to LED. Now I have about 1/2 a gallon. I don't want to invest in a calcium reactor.
I was thinking if I purchase a fan to blow over the water in my sump. I could increase evaporation.
And ideas on a fan?

Radio Shack has some in both 4" & 6" size that are very quiet and move lots of air, All you need is a adapter to plug them into the 120V source and they have those too. You may find them online cheaper but after shipping it may be easier to get them local.

+1 on Radio Shack, just bought 4- 120mm fans($10 each). Go to walmart and they have a universal power supply for mosr electronics. It is also variable volts so you can run the fans at different speeds($18). Even at 12 volts its quiet and they push alot of air. I tempory wired them and put them ontop of my mesh screen top, it drop the temp by 2 degrees in no time.

I use some blowers off thw wood stoves we sell. Very quiet and up to 150 cfm. But they r more expensive.

I generally use Yate Loon 120MM fans in my computers and reefs both. $3.60 each or $2.95 each if you buy 10 or more. YATE LOON 120mm Case Fan - D12SL-12 They are well regarded at silentpcreview.com. Just keep in mind that the last letter in the model name refers to the speed of the fan. The ones I linked are low. They provide a good amount of flow and are very quiet. :)
