Right, currently watching my perimeters like a hawk and doing 25% water changes every 2-3 days. My current setup is fairly well thriving, with even a small piece of orange monti surviving and growing slowly. Trying to work out a way to keep that little guy alive in a biocube, and my best answer thus far is a little high-intensity in-tank LED spotlight that we have at work.

...the cube at work is odd. To my knowledge we haven't done a single water change on it since it was first set up, yet the 'nems are absolutely thriving and there is NO algae anywhere to be seen. Would be a perfect tank minus the majano infestation =P

There are various ways to maintain a system, I haven't performed a water change in my 80G system but maybe twice in the last year year i've had it set up.

Dont mind the dirty glass but for lighting you could always remove the stock hood and set something else up. i had a local glass place cut pieces to fit the top(left back compartments open) and installed an LED light. couldn't be happier with how it has worked. After my upgrade this will be converted to a nem/clown tank. biocube 32.

Hi, I run two Nano systems and both are Nem heavy tanks , you shouldn't worry too much .my goby and shrimp know the dangers. The goby will often brush passed the Nems before perching somewhere and the shrimps feeler thingy's (you know what I mean ) give him enough notice something sticky is ahead. Beware though when feeding your Nem and I do feed mine once a week, the shrimp may try and steal the food from your Nem, so always throw a feed to the shrimp first to keep him busy .nems need good light but a good feed will benefit them and put on growth.. good luck and go for it .

I have a rock anemone, a bubble tip and a long tentacle anemones. I have cleaner shrimp, crabs, snail and 12 fish ranging from clowns to a small yellow Goby. Everything is fine the shrimp walk all over the anemones particularly when I'm feeding cause they steal the pieces of shrimp.
I also have a sally light footed crab and they all get along nicely together
Only the Long tip has moved

BTAs won't eat a healthy fish. Their grab is easy to break free from if the fish isn't already on its way out. Your skunk definitely isnt in harms way and may even host the anemone. I have two pink skunks and they host my RBTA. I never directly feed the nem because it's gets food that floats by and sometimes the clowns feed it too.
