Super worried about the lil guy. He’s not eating, breathing rapidly and has stayed in the same spot for the last 36 hrs. Gonna try to attach a vid so you can get a better idea of what’s going on. Any help is so greatly appreciated. I love this fish.

Let's see if we can get some help...

Could be low oxygen if it's breathing heavy. What are the parameters of your water?

While we're waiting on additional help, can you share what other fish are in the tank? Sometimes that behavior in clownfish can be a result of stress.

without more information its impossible to say. I don't know if you're using your phone - but there is a link in my signature - that apparently some cannot see....

Unfortunately - and I'm not quite sure why R2R keeps supporting the video upload - I cannot see it - I'm sure others will weigh in

How old is the tank, size, all "parameters in check" doesn't mean much. How long have you had the clownfish? Is it a new addition that just went through acclimation?

It's a beautiful black ice or bullet clown and people here are a huge help, I think they just need more info.

Feels like a lack of oxygen.
Looks that way to me as well. I could download the video to watch it. Either high ammonia or low oxygen since it seems to be breathing very heavy. It would also be good to know how long it has not been eating. Was he not eating before the 36 hours?

As far as just camping a spot, clowns can be weird like that. My pair hang out in the corner almost all day unless I'm feeding. Not by the surface, but they host a monti cap for no particular reason even though there are better options available.

For now all i have are:
Salinity - 35ppm
Nitrates - 5ppm
Calcium is where it's supposed to be

Gonna get pH and amonia levels first thing tomorrow. I only have the reef master testing kit and have to grab the saltwater master kit tomorrow morning
